I'm trying to line up the name on the user panel to fit inside a graphic I'm using. Example:

Can anyone help me with this? I tried adjusting the content margins but it won't move it.

I've never been successful at using SkinStudio...but couldn't you create a transparent image to go on the left side of the name? Maybe wide enough to nudge the name over to the center of the graphic? Not sure if it would be a .gif or .png, or whatever format is required that keeps the transparency. Sorry if that's not any help One of these days I'll give SS a try.

No, that wouldn't work cause there isn't an item to make transparent. The name is there automatically, as far as I can tell. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I think your best bet would be get rid of the user name altogether. I would put another text there on your graphic, skin name, etc. Check this thread for the details.

You can also create a user pic that would blend into the background. That would push the text over as well.

Jeeze, NT, that would be too easy! I never thought of that! Got to be difficult, I guess.

MGiff here's another way....

To set the User Text exactly where you want it you have to use the Minimum X value for text attribute. This will shift the text to the right by the number of pixels you enter. You have no control going in the other direction

Cool! I'm gonna try that next time, thanks Essencay!
